In 1987, we are all so very very young. Looking back, it is hard to believe that so much time has passed and that we now see that period as just one thread of a much larger tapestry. But harder still is the realization that we have started to lose good people from our class. Too young and far too soon because there is still so much left to be seen and there is still so much left to do… Ralph Waldo Emerson defined success as:
"To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people
and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest
critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate
beauty, to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better;
whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social
condition; to know even one life has breathed easier
because you lived.
This is to have succeeded."
In that spirit and above all else, each of us has succeeded in this life because in one respect or another we have all made a difference somewhere and in someway.
The following people were with us in our four-year journey at WHS. While they had a shorter time to do it, they made a difference, they mattered, and they will be missed…
